盏托以圆形盏、盘和高足组成。此盏托呈宋式、与元时制式稍有不同，或为宋末元初之物，敞口束腰器型舒展，中沿向外沿伸较平直，不似元代口沿较直，中沿上卷，其品相之佳，漆色保存之好为仅见。其乌似点睛、其朱似宝石珊瑚，再剔以如意云纹，质朴华丽，古雅可赏。保存如此完好，应是拥者宝之、传承有序之故。明初曹昭《格古要论》卷八：「古剔犀器皿，以滑地紫犀为贵，俗谓之枣儿犀。剔犀又称云雕，其工艺先以两种（多为朱、黑二色）或三种色漆相间髹于器物胎骨上，每一色漆都由若干道漆髹成，至堆栈到相当厚度后，雕刻时，刀锋斜下，剔刻出剑环、重圈、回纹、云钩之类图案花纹，在刀口断面可以看出不同的色层，彩线如带，随着纹饰的轮廓回转，通过打磨后，显出光泽，剔犀成品即成。
