炉呈簋式，唇口外撇，微束颈，溜肩，弧腹圆鼓，圈足外撇作起弦一周。腹部两侧分饰双龙首耳，呈兽吞式，气势如虹。器腹两面錾刻凤凰云鹿纹纹饰，凤凰昂首、短喙、展翅、翘尾，羽翼丰满、展翅高翔，活灵活现，于厚重中增添了几分灵动生气。整器局部鎏金，金水丰腴莹润，铜质精纯，质地厚重，闻声清脆悦耳，实为炉中佳品。
