A LARGE FAMILLE VERTE ‘BUDDHIST LIONS’ DISH, KANGXI PERIOD
China, 1661-1722. Sturdily potted, the rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a café au lait glazed rim. The interior painted in bright enamels with three Buddhist lions chasing a ribboned brocade ball with billowing scarfs.
Provenance: British trade.
Condition: Very good condition with little wear, some manufacturing flaws such as pitting, dark spots and glaze recesses.
