A PAIR OF CHINESE COCKERELS, LATE QING DYNASTY China, 19^th century. Each perched on rockwork bases, the head turned slightly to the side, the body covered in white, with a red comb and wattle, the face and legs painted in dark brown, and the base glazed in ochre.

Provenance: French trade.
Condition: Good condition with old wear to the glaze, mostly to the dark-brown glazed head and feet, nibbling to exposed areas, some manufacturing irregularities, such as spots, glazing recesses, pitting, and porcelain warts. One rooster with hairline cracks to the base of the comb.

中國，十九世紀。各自站在石座上，頭微向一側偏，一身白羽，紅冠，面足成黑褐色，石座釉赭色。

品相：狀況良好，釉色有舊磨損，主要在黑褐色釉頭和足部，外露部位有輕微磨損，部分製造瑕疵，如斑點、釉面凹陷、麻點等。一隻公雞的底座在細長的裂縫。
