A ‘COURTING SCENE’ FAMILLE-ROSE PORCELAIN DISH, LATE QING TO REPUBLIC PERIOD China, 1840-1940. Potted with deep rounded sides rising to a straight rim, the interior finely painted with a lavishly dressed lady in conversation with a gentleman. Painted in polychrome enamels with gold and iron red details. An apocryphal six-character Yongzheng reign mark on the underside.
