AN EMBROIDERED IMPERIAL YELLOW SATIN KANG CUSHION COVER, QING DYNASTY China, 1750-1850. The satin cover finely embroidered in Peking knot with a central roundel of lotus blossoms and bats with scroll, surrounded by Buddhist symbols and lotus amid leafy scroll repeated outside the rectangular border, backed with yellow damask decorated with Shou symbols.

Provenance: From a private collection in Franconia, Germany, acquired in the local trade.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear.

清代明黃緞繡纏枝蓮紋炕墊
中國，1750-1850年。以明黃緞為地，炕墊中部以三藍技法繡出界欄一道，將整個炕墊分為兩個區塊。整幅炕墊以圓形蓮花為中心，間繡有精美的佛教八寶和纏枝蓮紋。炕墊通體繡以纏枝西番蓮紋。整幅的吉祥紋樣，綉品花樣繁複，繡工精細，設色華麗，象徵著富貴榮華。背面暗紋壽字紋。
