A KESI SILK PANEL DEPICTING AVALOKITESHVARA, QING DYNASTY China, 1644-1912. Seated in dhyanasana atop a tiered lotus throne, holding an ovoid vase with flowers in front of him, wearing a voluminous robe decorated with bamboo leaves, a halo behind him, all above crashing waves and rockwork below a terrace, the deity within a cloud emerging from a lotus flower in the water.

Provenance: French trade.
Condition: Good condition with only minor wear, little soiling, minimal tears, small losses.

清代緙絲觀音坐蓮像
中國，1644-1912年。觀音坐於高蓮花寶座上，手持花瓶，身著竹葉紋袈裟，身後有背光，從波濤之中升起。下方可見水邊院牆，水中長出幾朵搖曳的荷花。
