A framed Chinese embroidery dating from the early 19th century. It is yellow-ground with blue lotus tracery and bats throughout. The embroidery has a black border with blue lotus tracery. Dimensions are: the area of embroidery measures 52 inches tall X 25 inches wide, 132.1 cm X 63.5 cm, while the frame measures 57 inches tall X 30 1/2 inches wide, 144.8 cm X 77.5 cm.
