杨石朗 1915年生。1938年在上海师从海派著名国画家贺天健学习国画、书法。1973年到江西省工艺美术研究所专研国画。曾任中国美术家协会会员、江西美术家协会副主席、顾问、江西中国画研究会顾问、江西省文联委员、江西书法家协会会员、江西书画院顾问。代表作有《井冈山》、《匡庐奇秀》、《三峡奇观》。
Yang Shilang was born in 1915. In 1938, Yang learnt traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy from the then famous painter of Shanghai School He Tianjian in Shanghai. In 1973, he entered Jiangxi Arts & Crafts Research Institute for further study. As a member of China Artists Association, Vice President and Advisor to Jiangxi Artists Association, an advisor to Jiangxi Chinese Painting Research Institute and Jiangxi Academy of Painting and Calligraphy and a member of Jiangxi Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Jiangxi Calligraphers Association, Yang has created many masterpieces including Jinggang Mountain, Splendid Mount Lu and Wonders of Three Gorges.
