戴敦邦 1938年生于江苏丹徒。1956年毕业于上海第一师范学校。历任《中国少年报》美术编缉、中国福利会《儿童时代》美术编辑、上海交通大学美术研究室副主任。曾获“全国第一届连环画创作绘画三等奖”、“野间插图二等奖”、“1980年全国连环画创作二等奖”。代表作有《五彩路》、《陈胜吴广》、《逼上梁山》。
Dai Dunbang was born in Dantu of Jiangsu in 1938. As the winner of the Second Prize of Noma Prize for Illustrations, Second Prize of National Comic Book Strip Contest and the Third Prize of the 1st National Comic Book Strip Contest and Second Prize of Noma Illustration Competition, Dai became familiar to people with works like Colorful Road, Chen Sheng and Wu Guang, Driven to Join the Liangshan Rebels, etc. He has served as Art Editor with China Youth Daily and Childhood of China Welfare Institute and Associate Director of Fine Arts Research Office of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
