中国古代称孔雀石为“绿青”、“石绿”或“青琅玕”，由于颜色酷似孔雀羽毛上斑点的绿色而获得如此美丽的名字。此件以孔雀石为材，呈丝绢光泽。圆雕一金蟾，造型写实，各部比例准确适度。金蟾呈爬伏状，形体肥硕，浓眉圆眼，爪足细长健壮，脚蹼雕刻细致，股肌弹力内含，颇为生动逼真，凸显工匠对原物形态的熟知和雕刻技艺的高超。腹部有牛穿孔，可供穿系佩挂。蟾常被奉为招财进宝的祥物，象征财富，有招财进宝、辟邪之意。记录：葛仁NO.1860
