璧为白玉质，满色，玉质莹润细腻。器呈圆形，中有一孔，内外边缘立边，双面工，器表施以压地隐起技法，碾琢蟠虺纹，以鸡心卷云纹填充，具有强烈的视觉效果，时代特征明显。整体纹饰精美，雕工精细，抛光精良。《周礼》中说“以苍璧礼天”，可见玉璧在先民生活中的地位。圆的祭天器造型符合我国古老朴素的“天圆地方”、“天动地静”的天地观。参考：《古玉精英》,P102
