玉璧以白玉为材，光气纯熟。玉璧器形较大，满雕刻乳钉纹，饱满圆润，排列整齐，纹饰雕刻精湛。整体造型古朴，沁色典雅，包浆厚重。古人认为璧属于一种祭祀天神的礼器，可见其特殊地位。玉璧的用途除了礼神敬祖外，在春秋时期亦有敬人之说，为卑者敬尊长者所备之礼物。参考：《中国出土玉器全集14》P173
