记录：欧洲拍卖公司扳指为白玉质，洁白细腻，带有黄沁。顶端微弧，直壁，平底，器面边缘饰一圈回形纹，中部镂雕花卉纹，花形开窗琢“斋庄中正”四字，出于袁甫《番阳喜晴赠幕僚》，所谓斋庄中正并不只是头发整齐、衣服端庄、外表庄严，而是要内心庄重，眼、耳、鼻、舌、身、意也全要庄重。射箭作为古代的“六艺”之一，是君子应掌握的基本技能。满清人起源于关外的女真族，尽管入主中原，但仍保留着游牧民族的生活习俗，拇指上大带扳指即是对游牧文化的继承。
