此件为白玉质，温润细腻。迦楼罗人首形神鸟，双眼外突，头戴发箍，双臂于胸前相握，下饰锥形，背后呈璧形，薄胎工艺，中间有一圆孔，一面碾琢两条螭龙，攀爬相视状，对称布局，一面饰乳钉纹，颗粒饱满。根据《迦楼罗及诸天密言经》记载：“迦楼罗者。天竺方言。唐云金翅鸟。”此种鸟称迦楼罗神鸟，俗谓金翅鸟，人面鸟身，以龙为食，威力无穷，是佛教中的护法神，予人吉祥与幸福。辽、金时多见。
