Southeast Asia, Burma (Myanmar), ca. 19th century CE. A lovely bronze sculpture of a deity standing atop an altar comprised of an openwork lotus flower on a 4-legged pedestal and a rectangular plinth with a white and blue textile periphery. The slender god wears a lengthy cape and a top bun as a sizeable openwork halo of a floral motif with a tapering finial crowns the head.
