This is a collection of 12 original photographs of the famous starlet Marilyn Monroe preforming for American troops stationed in Seoul, all set in 10 protective sleeves. The photos are taken by a soldier in the crowd during her performance and as she arrived via jeep. Monroe and new husband, Joe DiMaggio, set off on February 1st, 1954, for their honeymoon in Tokyo, aboard their flight was American Major General Christenberry, who took the opportunity to ask Monroe if she would be willing to visit and entertain troops stationed in Seoul. She performed 10 shows over the course of 4 days to nearly 100,000 adoring soldiers.
