本品追摹清盛时御瓷风度，乾隆朝的粉彩喜鹊登梅为名品器物。《淮南子·人间训》有：“夫鹊先识岁之多风也，去高木而巢扶枝。”隐喻喜鹊常与喜事相伴而来，故此图示及葫芦瓶形皆有祥瑞之意。此作最精彩处是赭墨彩所绘雀鸟及树干极尽了工致华丽，墨分五色下鸟、树造型栩栩如生，点染之间一派清新气派。又间以红艳之色写梅花朵朵，一前一后，一浓丽一清新，相映成趣。
