This dark blue Longgua Lady’s surcoat shows eight finely embroidered roundels with picturesque landscapes as well as small floral shapes and butterflies. At the lower rim a wave and ruyi pattern is interchanging with trees and rock formations. At the collar and the hems of the sleeves woven borders are applied and richly decorated, light blue colored silk bands with courtiers further adorn the sleeves.

Condition: Very good condition with minor staining and very few open stitches or loose threads
