药师佛，又作药师如来、大医王佛、十二愿王。为东方净琉璃世界之教主。此佛于过去世行菩萨道时，曾发十二大愿，愿为众生解除疾苦，使具足诸根，导入解脱，故依此愿而成佛，住净琉璃世界，其国土庄严如极乐国。此尊面庞清秀，弯眉长目，眼睑微垂，相容和煦。身着袒右式袈裟，袈裟斜搭于左肩，覆左上臂，下缘阴刻花纹，使得像身的优美曲线在薄衣下得以展现。全跏趺坐。左手置于脐前施禅定印。右手施胜印持诃子（已佚）。台座上缘饰有莲珠，莲瓣圆润饱满。
