PLEASE IGNORE THE FLASH SPOTS IN THE PICTURES - THIS IS NOT DAMAGE. What a WONDERFUL FIND!! A play on the story of Rapunzel told in 4 paintings on this wonderful piece of porcelain. Cherubs are trying to rescue Rapunzel but the evil stepmother cuts their ribbons. It is marked with the Delinieres & Co mark for the periods of 1894 through 1900 and it is also marked with the Red Elite Works decorating mark for the periods of 1891-1900. Additionally it is signed by the ARTIST "A.M.W" and "97". This wonderful Limoges Jardiniere and plinth are in excellent condition. There are some very light scratches on the plinth where the jardiniere sits but the wonderfully decorated jardiniere and plinth otherwise both are in excellent condition and will make a wonderful centerpiece for any one's table. Dimensions are overall 11 1/4 inches tall. The diameter of the jardiniere is approximately 12 inches. We are in the process of listing a very large collection of Antique Victorian items.
