此件玛瑙瓶造型别致，瓶身呈扁平状。瓶盖圆雕瑞兽钮，分身、盖两部分，子母口相合，口、足及盖为长方形，打磨光滑。瓶外壁高浮雕三娘教子图，可见一女子疏发整齐，满脸笑意，身着长衫长裤，手提篮筐，肩扛锄头，望向一旁孩童，孩童则天真烂漫，头绾双髻，似有所语，四周衬以苍松祥云、蝴蝶翻飞，画面感极强。此玛瑙瓶布局妥帖，雕刻工艺精湛，内壁掏膛规整，纹饰一丝不苟，古朴典雅，是为清代文房陈设佳品。
