此摆件以天然木随形雕就，其线条虬曲，蜿蜒韧劲，极富层次。以深浅浮雕，阴刻等多种技法融为一体，将“福、禄、寿”三星表现的极为写实，姿态各异，三者均留长须飘拂，开相和善得意，显露和善之态。其中福星和禄星头戴峨冠，福星面露灿烂笑容，常有多子多福的吉祥寓意；禄星一手捋须，一手应执如意；寿星状貌和霭苍老，光顶寿额，一手拄葫芦拐杖，一手捧寿桃。下方云雾缭绕，仙气缥缈。
福、禄、寿在民间流传为天上三吉星，“福”寓意五福临门，“禄”寓意高官厚禄，“寿”寓意长命百岁。中国民间喜欢将三星作为礼仪交往和日常生活中象征幸福、吉利、长寿的祝愿。此器即为一例。
