Ca. 1100-1200 AD. A brass ladle with a deep, round bowl featuring high sides that ensure a generous capacity, ideal for serving stews, soups, and other delectable delicacies. The bowl is seamlessly joined to a long, flat-section handle, with a circular finial and circle and a dot decoration along the upper face. Ladles held a position of great importance, serving as essential tools in the preparation and presentation of food.
