Five famille rose plates with immortals and lotus pond, Yongzheng period (1722–35), China, D 22 cm, Purchased from Aronson Antiques (Amsterdam) in the mid 1980's, in the same family since then. The centres showing two mandarin ducks in a lotus pond, the outer border showing the Eight Daoist Immortals crossing the sea. Not marked. One plate with two flat chips of the back rim (see close-up photo). Another plate with rim frits and small chips. No other damage, no hairlines and no restoration.
