|谭泉海，男，1939年生于江苏宜兴和桥镇，自20世纪50年代随着著名老艺人任淦庭学陶刻。1975年进入中央工艺美术学院陶训班深造，受到著名教授梅健鹰、杨永善、张守知、白雪石、陈若菊等的教导。金石篆刻、书法绘画、花鸟、山水、人物俱佳，作品构思新颖，风格清新洒脱。在长期从事陶刻装饰工作中，细细揣摩曼生三刀法，板桥郑书风，形成自己独特的风格。陶刻用刀多变，表现手法多样，作品多以俊秀细腻见长，亦不乏粗狂奔放传神的佳作。陶刻作品曾获莱比锡国际金奖，曾到台北和马来西亚举办个人书画展览，曾任宜兴市人大副主任。第七、八、九届全国人大代表。
