边长9.9cm 重：257g
镜方形，字体特殊，品相甚佳。铭文共四列曰：方正而明，万里无尘，水天一色，犀照群伦。圆章内有“湖州”二字，方章内有“薛晋侯造”四字。薛晋候是清乾隆年间湖州地区有名的铸镜名家。其诗文形式为模仿汉镜四言格式，内容丰富，或取历代咏镜名篇引伸或作部分改动的诗句，或体现释、道家清净修为的意景和追求。精巧华美、制式新颖、内涵深远，可作案头精致文房赏玩摆设，也是微型书法陈列，雅致难得，值得关注。
