此件拍品依藏传佛教铜酥油灯造型而制，供于佛前，器型古朴独特，少见。釉水莹润，开片美观，胎体老化自然，时代特征明显。酥油灯是使用酥油作为燃烧源的油灯，多见于蒙藏地区，有着悠久的历史。其中的酥油是从牛奶或者羊奶的油脂中反复提炼出来的。酥油常温下呈固态，颜色多为乳黄色，而羊奶的则成乳白色，酥油灯燃烧时火光稳定，奶香悠然，是蒙藏地区人民供奉神明时不可缺少的法器之一。
