肩部前置鸡首流，作昂首鸣叫状，后为龙形柄，龙俯首衔口沿。肩部置对称环式耳，作双瓣重合状。器造型挺拔秀美。相州窑为北方早期的一处重要窑址。所烧器物胎壁较厚，胎色灰白，施釉一般薄而均匀，釉色以青釉为主，白釉、褐釉次之。青釉呈玻璃质，光泽较强，透过釉层可以窥见胎面。釉厚处色浓，釉薄处色淡。常见的有青中带绿，青中带黄以及青灰、青褐等色。综合目前考古发掘资料可知，相州窑始烧于北朝晚期，隋朝达到鼎盛时期，延续至唐。所烧产品不仅为民间广泛使用，更得到当朝上流社会青睐。
