A CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN BRUSH REST, QING
China, 1820-1920. The rock crystal carved in openwork as craggy and layered rocky peaks, with a plum and peony blossom springing atop, highlighted by an extremely rare amethyst skin in the stone.

Provenance: A private collection of scholarly works of art.
Condition: Good condition with hardly any wear and a fine patina. One microscopic nibbling, one blossom with a small section possibly smoothened.
