A group of six Chinese porcelain snuff bottles from the 18th-19th century. The bottles include blue and white and red and blue underglaze. Depicted imagery includes: three figures in a landscape; six fearsome warriors in battle; two red dragons among bats and ruyi clouds; mystical animals with a six character mark on the base; three figures at a village gate; a ribbed snuff bottle with engaged lion heads. Dimensions are: largest snuff bottle measures 3 in tall X 1 1/8 in wide, 7.6 cm tall X 2.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Minor firing flaws and small chips to the neck. Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, inherited from his father, who acquired this item in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before the 1970s.
