A Chinese inside-painted snuff bottle by Chen Dongshun. The sides of the bottle have carvings of stylized ruyi and a ring. One side of the bottle, which features an inscription and 2 seals, depicts a scene of flowers. The opposite side depicts 2 figures on a path through bamboo. The snuff bottle has a glass stopper with a spoon. Dimensions are: 2 1/4 inches tall X 1 inches wide, 5.7 cm tall X 2.5 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, inherited from his father, who acquired this item in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before the 1970s.
