A Chinese white jade flattened snuff bottle dating from the 18th century. The snuff bottle has a carving of a lotus pond scene on the front and a poem on the reverse. Dimensions are: 2 1/4 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide, 5.7 cm tall X 3.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition, though the stopper has no spoon. Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, inherited from his father, who acquired this item in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before the 1970s.
