A set of 12 snuff bottles depicting the 12 Chinese zodiac signs, dating to the late 19th century. All come with their own wooden stand. The snuff bottles show an animal, the artist, year, and a human figure all on their own sides. All of the snuff bottles include a green stone stopper. Dimensions for all are: 4 in tall x 2 1/4 in wide, 10.2 cm tall X 5.7 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The snake snuff bottle has the cork stuck and glaze pops; the pig snuff has small firing cracks on the base; the goat snuff has a chip in the bottom corner; the horse snuff has a broken spoon; the rat snuff has glaze pops; the cow snuff has small glaze pops in the corner; the dragon snuff has glaze pops in reverse.
