Five Items English Country Pottery, 19th Century plus Winchcombe Slipware Dish. Five stoneware items comprising a tall pouring bottle complete with old cork stopper, a tall jar with lead cover, a shorter handled jar with cover, a jar with splayed foot and a smaller jar with two loop handles. All dating c.19th Century. The Winchcombe slipware dish marked “JS” (John Shelly 1907 – 1995) and probably dating to the 1950s. Tallest bottle 23.5cm. Diameter of dish 23cm.
Provenance: from the collection of the late Brian Page (1938-2018), the well-known Oriental art and antiques dealer from Brighton.
