玉坠为和阗白玉质地，洁白温润，玉质极佳，包浆均匀。圆雕刘海站立于葫芦之上，弯腰抱住葫芦口。刘海五官勾勒清晰，面带笑容，喜气祥和。头顶发丝亦刻画细腻，根根分明，衣袂飘飘，惟妙惟肖。刘海右肩趴伏一只金蟾，昂首欲跃，十分灵动。刘海为五代时人，先为辽国进士，后出家修道，号海蟾子。刘海身居高位而后竟然弃官修道，为世人所称道。而他得道后常捕金蟾，另其吐金以接济穷人，更深得人心。
