A pair of Chinese export porcelain vases dating from the 18th century. Both have white grounds with blue-glazed foliate decoration surrounding two images of flower vases glazed in orange, pink, green, and purple. Provenance: 11 7/8 inches tall X 5 3/4 inches wide; 30.2 cm tall X 14.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One vase is slightly unstable on its foot. The other has restoration to its rim, as well as glaze skips on its foot and crazing throughout. Provenance: A North Carolina collection.
