Tiefe Schüssel aus Messing-Schlagblech mit schmaler Fahne. Im Spiegel Darstellung des Pelikans, mit dem Blut aus seiner Brust seine Jungen fütternd. Im Spiegel und auf der Fahne fein gepunzte Zierfriese. Eine weich gelötete Reparaturstelle, am Rand Reste der Befestigung einer Hängeöse. Durchmesser 25,5 cm. Der Pelikan war im Mittelalter ein beliebtes Motiv und stand bildlich für den Opfertod Christi. Bei den Nürnberger Beckenschlägerschüsseln zählt der Pelikan zu den schönsten und beliebtesten Motiven, ist aber nur selten auf dem Markt anzutreffen. Condition: II - III
