Fire-gilt brass case. Square base plate with four bun feet (one corner slightly indented). Case with removable side parts and corner pilasters. Decorated with scrolling leaves, vases, and birds. Pierced bell cover with screw-on vase finials. Copper dial with traces of silver plating. Roman numerals, the dial inscribed “ZEIT EILT” (time flies). The movement replaced in the 19th century, engraved maker's name "J. F. Bautte & Cie - Geneve". Movement with alarm function, repeater, and hour strike. The top bell no longer working. Movement in working order, complete function not tested. Gilt double key enclosed (repair). Height 22 cm.Condition: II
