The bronze housing richly decorated in relief, with heavy, chased and partially polished fire gilding. An old tension crack on the left side. The finial in the shape of a female allegorical figure (possibly Summer), a fully sculptured parrot next to a flowering sprig on the lower edge. The clock face in white enamel, possibly replaced, behind glass with black Roman and Arabic numerals, inscribed "Dupont à Paris". The gilt hands with engraving and openwork. The large pendulum strikes the half hour, with engraved signature "Dupont Paris", wound with a key. Not tested for proper functioning. Height 68 cm.Condition: II
