The free-standing, severely geometric corpus in solid, partly carved walnut. Standing on four turned baluster legs with a crossbar, the straight frame with three drawers and two panelled drawers in front of large compartments. Imposing, heavy table top. The draw pulls also in walnut. Old labels pasted on the underside with reference to Mr Friedländer and a Berlin moving company. An exceptional, early piece of library furniture with a first-rate provenance.
