Small fire-gilt bronze of Buddha Amithaba seated on a lotus throne, legs crossed, holding a vessel with Amrita, a life-prolonging elixir, in his hands. The base is soldered. In the area of the waist a crack running all around with a small missing part at the front, two broken spots on the band running around the body. Hair and headdress with remnants of blue and red painting. Dimensions 14 x 8.5 x 5.5 cm. Weight 0.54 kg.Provenance: From a South German private collection.Condition: II - III
