An iron scimitar with parts of the scabbard plate. Typically curved wedge blade with a short, flat hollow blade on one side. Grip ferrule and cap with line decoration. All three rivet pins of the grip preserved. The blade partly more corroded in the upper and middle parts, excellently preserved at the tip. Good overall iron condition. Professionally restored. The lower part of the scabbard plate with button-like end preserved. Length 48 cm. Provenance: From a German private collection, acquired in the early 2000s from Hermann Historica.Condition: II -
