A CHINESE LACQUERED COFFEE TABLE WITH CLOISONNE PLAQUES China, 1880-1920s. The black coromandel style lacquered low coffee table with a rectangular frame and raised, beaded edges, above a narrow waist and shaped aprons, raised on four elegantly curved cabriole legs. The top finely carved with flower tendrils and meander borders on the side, inlaid with three cloisonne plaques, depicting double fish, cranes, floral decorations, and auspicious symbols. The waist and the reticulated legs, precisely carved with beautifully painted reliefs, portraying floral scrolls and scattered blossoms. Condition: Good condition with traces of wear and age and some chips to exposed areas. Provenance: Austrian private collection. Dimensions: Height 47 cm, Width 50.5 cm x Length 117 cm (Tabletop)
