DOEBNER, THEODOR (attributed; occasionally also Doebener. Kalsnava/Latvia 1875-1942 Osnabrück), mixed lot of 6 watercolors depicting landscapes, unsigned. The German-Baltic painter, who lived and worked in Osnabrück, studied at the Riga School of Drawing and at the School of Applied Arts and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and thematized here the Osnabrück countryside. Each framed in a mount and behind glass in gallery molding. One back cover inscribed "Theodor Doebener, ca. 1925", several backs with stamp of an Osnabrück art and frame shop. Measures in mount 23 x 33 cm, 24.5 x 34 cm, 23 x 32 cm, 22.5 x 31.5 cm, 23.5 x 32 cm and 21 x 30 cm. Comes with: 2 drawings on ivory paper, inscribed on the reverse with the estate stamp. 23.5 x 33.5 cm and 24.8 x 32 cm.
