TWO MINIATURES / MINIATURE PICTURES, probably 2nd h. 19th c.. 1) Miniature painting on ivory "Young woman", tempera on ivory (plate strongly wavy), signed in the middle right "J. C. ??". Framed in round gold-colored frame with openwork border in foliate forms; mount on the reverse. D. 7,5 cm. 2) Gouache "Ruined castle with water", gouache on paper. Small study in oval frame. Signed "Tavenraat" lower right; attribution to Johannes Tavenraat on reverse. Overall height 7.8 x w. 10 cm. (Both objects with traces of use).
