4th century BC. A bronze ring with a narrow hoop expanding at the shoulders, oval sealing bezel with an engraved image of a young man looking left. Cf. Chadour, A.B., Rings. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, items 70-71, for type. 4.32 grams, 23.84mm overall, 19.27mm internal diameter (approximate size British P, USA 7 1/2, Europe 16.23, Japan 15) (1"). Property of a gentleman from Vienna; from his private collection formed since 1970. The ring belongs to the archaeological typology of the 4th century BC.
