Seven-word-poem and signature by the artist: "In autumn of the jichou year of the Qianlong period (1769), I came to Lanling and saw the painting 'The Fangshan Mountain in Mist and Rain' by Lianchao jushi and wrote my impression here, Menglou Wang Wenzhi." Two seals: "Wang Wenzhi yin", "ceng jing cang hai".
