Signature: "Painted by Yuan Jiang from Hanshang (Yangzhou)." Two seals: "Seal of Yuan Jiang" (Yuan Jiang zhi yin), "Wentao". Yuan Jiang, style name Wentao, was a court painter during the Yongzheng period (1723-1735). He was famous for his monumental landscape paintings in the tradition of the Song dynasty and his meticulous rendition of architecture (jiehua).
