Signature by the artist: "In the ninth month of the gengchen year (probably 1820) painted for the third elder brother Mr. Zhu in the Huaiyin shanfang after the poem 'Snowscape by the River' by Liu Zihou (Liu Zongyuan, 773-819), Lingzhou Ling." Four seals: "Zhao Zhongling yin", Lingzhou", "cishi cijing ciyi" u.
